LIBERTYVILLE – With a new Libertyville location about one block south of the old one, Mickey Finn's Brewery is celebrating its grand opening and 21st anniversary Feb. 9-13, according to a news release.
Mickey
Finn's, at 345 N. Milwaukee Ave., is throwing a multi-day party to give
back to loyal customers who have supported the oldest, newest and
largest microbrewery in Lake County. Each night, Mickey Finn's will
award free dinners and prizes to diners while bar patrons will be
eligible to win a free pub crawl with owner Brian Grano, the release
stated.
"Our loyal customers turned out from day one, loving the openness [of the new location], exposed brick walls and historic wood ceilings," Grano said of the move. "The new, urban-industrial restaurant features a solid oak, custom-built 60-foot bar with 26 tap handles and eight 70-inch LED TVs."
Grano said Mickey Finn's has a new stage and sound system as well. Live music is played in the bar and restaurant every Friday and Saturday for no charge.
"We've also added a 65-seat beer garden with a huge fire pit and have expanded the beautiful banquet facility," Grano said.
The banquet room, which incl
udes a view of the brewery, can host 25-150 people, the release stated.
Mickey Finn's is open from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. The brewpub is closed Mondays.
